WSKY: A Token-Based Irish Whiskey Distillery Concept

Updated October 14, 2026

WSKY is a live Daly Ventures project concept exploring a token-based fundraising campaign to help launch an Irish whiskey distillery. The idea is to connect people who want to support the project with defined benefits linked to the whiskey and the community around it.

The current focus is the use case and its feasibility. The distillery, campaign structure and token benefits described here remain proposals.

The fundraising use case

The proposed campaign would help fund the development and launch of a distillery. A token could provide a way to record participation and administer agreed benefits, with clear terms explaining what supporters receive and what conditions apply.

The intended value would come from those benefits. Token price appreciation, resale opportunities and a secondary market are not assumed.

Proposed token benefits

  • Whiskey distributions: access to bottles or other whiskey benefits under a defined model, subject to production, availability and agreed delivery or redemption terms.

  • Event access: opportunities to attend project events or experiences, with eligibility, availability and booking terms specified.

  • Potential profit sharing: a feature to assess through legal, tax and regulatory review. It is not a confirmed entitlement or a promised return.

Any campaign would need clear participation terms and an appropriate review of its structure, proposed benefits and intended jurisdictions before those benefits could be offered.

From concept to an operating distillery

The project needs a credible production and funding plan: a location, operating team, required permissions, realistic costs, and a route from production through maturation to product availability. These details would determine what the campaign could responsibly promise and when.

Recipes, sourcing choices and cask selection are part of the proposed product design. They should be presented as decisions to develop and validate, rather than fixed production claims.

Governance and delivery

Token-holder input on selected project decisions is another feature to explore. Any voting model would need to define its scope, the responsibilities of the operating team, and how decisions and project progress are reported.

The practical test is whether the token makes participation and benefit delivery clearer. Fundraising terms, delivery commitments and participant risks need to be explained in plain language.
